For motorcycle training we use both country lanes and the main roads around Guildford, Surrey and all surrounding areas. We are a few minutes away from the Farnborough Test Centre in Hampshire and would familiarise you with the roads used for the Module 2 Test. We also offer lowered motorcycles to
suit your individual needs
Induction
Induction is designed for the complete novice. It introduces you to riding and gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the motorcycle of your choice. Inductions can be a great benefit as it gives you the confidence and skills to move on to another level.
We run our CBT courses in and around the Farnborough/Mytchett area of Hampshire/Surrey
CBT (Compulsory Basic Training)
The CBT was introduced by the government in 1990. The aim is to make riding safer, giving you the necessary skills and confidence to ride on the roads. You must have a CBT before lawfully riding on the roads
CBT is usually a one day course and is not a test, but is a training day which enables you to reach a suitable standard for safer road riding
CBT allows a person who is 16 years of age and onwards to ride a 50cc motorcycle restricted to 30mph
17 years of age and onwards allows you to ride a 125cc on 14.6bhp with the option of taking a test for a motorcycle licence
CATEGORY A.1
This licence is designed for any person aged between 17-19 years of age and over. This is a 4/5 day course, depending on your ability and previous experience. Once completed, you would be entitled to ride a motorcycle with the following specifications:
SMALL MOTORCYCLES UP TO 125CC/10.1bhp/7KW MAXIMUM 14.6bhp/11.KW
A theory test is required in order to complete this test.
Once this licence has been completed you will be entitled to ride a 125cc motorcycle.
You will not need L plates.
You can carry pillion passengers.
After 2 years' experience you will be allowed to take the A.2 licence or A licence depending on your age. You would not need to take another Theory test but would need to take further practical tests.
CATEGORY A.2.
This Licence is designed for any person aged between 19 - 21 years or over. This is a 5/6 day course, depending on your ability and previous experience. Once completed you would be entitled to ride a motorcycle with the following specifications:
MEDIUM MOTORCYCLES UP TO 35KW/47bhp. This motorcycle must not be derived from a vehicle of more than double its power
Once completed you would be entitled to ride any Motorcycle with the above specifications
You will not need L plates
You can carry pillion passengers
After 2 years' experience you will be allowed to take the Category A licence.
CATEGORY A.
This licence is designed for any person 24 years or over or 21 years of age with 2 years experience on an A.2 licence.
You would be entitled to ride a Motorcycle of any size
Carry pillion passengers
You will not need L plates
If you are taking your first Motorcycle test a Motorcycle theory would need to be completed. We are able to provide a practice DVD for your convenience.

Our aim is to provide safe, enjoyable and constructive training to all our candidates. We are based only a few minutes away from the Farnborough Test centre and you would be trained on familiar roads used for the Module 2 test.

What you will need for your tests:
Provisional/ full UK licence (both parts)
Be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20.5m/67ft (old style number plate) or 20.m/66ft (new style number plate)
Good knowledge of the Highway Code
CBT certificate (not for the CBT course)
Motorcycle theory test certificate (not for the CBT course)
